Mia and Jade. Jade has golden eyes but wouldn't look at me long enough to capture them.
Sheri and Stelio (Stelio is the owner of La Belle Vive)
This is the steep road we had to climb each day to walk to the beach. Quite the workout!! The ATV handled it well though.
Home Sweet Home
Walking through Fabrika
Fabrika has all these amazing alleys to wander through. Quite confusing and you can get lost. Back in the day, the villagers made it this way to confuse pirates. So I was told.
I figured out how to get to Little Italy!
Still very windy but refreshing!!!
Watching the sunset.
Me and my new favorite bartender and tour guide, Nicolina.
From the ferry leaving Mykonos to go to Delos.
Wind Mills!
Approaching Delos.
THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!! Not really...the entrance to Delos. Birthplace of Apollo. Pursued by the incensed and jealous Hera, the ill-fated Leto wandered from place to place seeking some corner of the earth in which to give birth to her son, fruit of her union with Zeus. Islands and cities refused to receive her, afraid of vengence from Hera. Delos dared to defy.
Entrance to a house.
House of Dion
House of the Trident. Closed off. :(
Entrance to the Theatre. Built in 3rd Century BC.
Another view of the Theatre.
Behind the Theatre.
Looking down on the ancient city.
Temple of Isis
House of Hermes. I'll take one Kelly Bag and a couple of scarves.....
Kynthos.
The lizards freaked me out. You would be walking and it's quiet then all of sudden you would hear a bunch of these things scurrying around you.
The place was crawling with these things!!!!! EVERYWHERE!!!
House of Kleopatra.
This is the entrance to the market square.
Delos Museum. No information was given about this statue. If there was, it was all Greek to me...
Artemis slaying a deer
They had nice butts back then....
The real Lions of Delos. There were originally 16 but 9 survived the elements.
Back from Delos. Exhausted from the three hour tour. Now time to pack and go home :(.
