"Pobeda" cars awaiting scrapping in a backyard near "Bourul" leather factories, Bucharest, 2006. These cars were communist official vehicles in the 1950-1960's era. Very tough, built after a 1941 Chevrolet, they were later licensed in Poland with the name "Warschawa" and lasted, in Romania at least, toward 1980's

Shipwreck in "Baia de nord", Sulina, 2005. The former self-propelled barge was intented to be salvaged, but it didn't worked... In the far background is one of the old lighthouses of the Sulina Canal (early 1900's), which came into obsolescnce since the natural growth of the canal into Black Sea (over 2 kilometres) and the addition of a long jetty (another 2 kilometres).

Perfect-kept steam engine in a shed at Comandau, Covasna. Albeit the narrow gauge track is covered by the road, it can always be ressurected, and so one engine at least !
